Confidentiality, fully explained
Everything you share is confidential. We explain clearly the limited legal exceptions to this, safeguarding in cases of imminent risk, and we do so at the start of therapy.
Therapeutic boundaries are clearly held
The therapeutic relationship is powerful precisely because it has clear limits. Your therapist will not be your friend outside the room, will not share personal information beyond what is clinically relevant.
Cultural humility
We distinguish between cultural sensitivity (knowing facts about groups) and cultural humility (recognising that our knowledge of your specific life is always incomplete).
Supervision for every therapist
Every therapist at Harmonise, regardless of seniority, attends regular individual and group clinical supervision. This is not bureaucratic tick-boxing — it is how good therapists stay good.
Honest outcome measurement
We use validated outcome measures — standardised questionnaires — to track progress quantitatively, not just subjectively. If the data suggests something is not working, we acknowledge it and adapt.
